On Sunday morning, Donald Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to make a statement. “There is no way I am going to support the evil Joe Biden,” Trump wrote. So, vote for Trump!
Trump spoke to Swift and Kelce on the social media platform Truth Social on Tuesday morning.
The full text of Trump’s announcement is as follows:
A vote for Trump it is, then! There’s just no other way.
“Besides that,” Trump continued,
“I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal and probably can’t stand me!”
Trump signed the Music Reform Act into law in October 2018. Although Swift has remained silent on the 2024 election, she endorsed Biden in an October 2020 interview with V Magazine.
“I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election. Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs.”
In January, multiple reports said the Biden campaign was seeking Swift’s endorsement this year.
Biden isn’t the only one voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. On January 10, EU Vice President Margaritis Schinas asked Swift to encourage the younger generation of Europe to vote, according to Euronews.
Last September, Taylor Swift asked young Americans to register to vote on social media. The day after his announcement, 35,000 young Americans registered to vote.”
On Friday, marketing research firm Savanta released a poll that found 15% of respondents said they would be more likely to vote in the 2024 presidential election if Swift and Kelce were forced to run.
After the Super Bowl, Trump and Biden will take the national spotlight in an election race which could be the ugliest ever fought.
