According to Snoop Dogg, he apologized to Eminem in 2020 after their fight got out of hand. There were rumors of a falling out after Snoop stated in a July 2020 interview that Dr. Dre was primarily to blame for Eminem’s popularity and that the rapper wasn’t “one of the top 10 rappers ever.”

Eminem responded by bringing up Snoop’s remarks about the December 2020 release of the song “Zeus.” In terms of squelching disputes, he rapped, “Last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me. I’m used to people knocking me, just not in my camp.”

Then, Eminem—real name Marshall Mathers—rapped, implying that Snoop’s remarks had let him down.
