The analyst believes Burrow’s performance in his Super Bowl loss was better than Mahomes’ performance against the 49ers.

Skip Bayless is not convinced by the greatness of Patrick Mahomes. Despite the quarterback’s undeniable impact on the Kansas City Chiefs, and his three Super Bowl MVP awards, the analyst called him out for struggling in the big game.
The analyst regards Tom Brady as the greatest QB of all time and rightfully so. He watched the Super Bowl and attempted to judge Mahomes on GOAT standards.
Bayless on the recent segment of his show Undisputed said,
For 4 quarters that game, I saw Patrick Mahomes really struggle. There were long stretches of that game where he just looked flat out lost. They got his number, they are bamboozling him and he can't figure them out...
That was the same thought on minds of all viewers watching the game. Kansas City struggled offensively in the first half.
But as fate had it, the team made a resurgence and came back in the second half taking the game to overtime and then Mahomes’ greatness was on full display as the QB managed to orchestrate the perfect drive to lead Kansas City to their third Super Bowl victory in 4 years. Teams across the NFL are yet to discover a kryptonite for Mahomes but Skip Bayless believes he already knows the answer to that question.
Skip Bayless is vouching for Joe Burrow over Patrick Mahomes
The analyst vouched for Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals over Patrick Mahomes. In a way, he is right because in the first three times that the duo has faced off, Burrow has won all three games. All 3 games came down to the wire, and the Bengals won them by a field goal, but Burrow has always had Mahomes’ number.

Skip Bayless went as far as to say that Joe Burrow’s performance in the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams was significantly more impressive than Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl performances.
He was really good in that Super Bowl and lost. I'm just telling you what my eye gate tells me. I'd take Joe Burrow over Patrick Mahomes.
Fans were stripped of the opportunity to see a Burrow-Mahomes matchup this season as the former QB suffered an injury and was ruled ineligible to play for the rest of the season. After which, the Bengals’ season did not go as anticipated. Next year, it will be very interesting to see if Burrow will continue to have the edge over Mahomes or will the Chiefs’ QB finally have an equal footing.
