It has been 24 years since Eazy E, the founder of N.W.A. and Ruthless Records passed away from AIDS, but the controversy rages on.

The rapper married Tomica Woods just days after his diagnosis, and 12 days before his death, leaving his company in her hands. This quick marriage has fueled conspiracy and murder theories, backed by Eazy E’s children

EAZY E’S UNEXPECTED DIAGNOSIS

The rapper had been suffering from a prolonged cold while on a promotional tour with Ice Cube, and doctors diagnosed him with full-blown AIDS, and an opportunistic pneumonia.

Three weeks after his initial diagnosis, Eazy E was dead, and his daughter, filmmaker Ebie Wright, 27, is determined to get to the bottom of his mysterious demise.

Ebie’s suspicions fall on her stepmother, Tomica Woods-Wright, who was awarded control of Eazy E’s estate

INVESTIGATING EAZY E’S DEATH

Ebie is making a documentary, ” Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies,” in which she will be delving into the details of her father’s untimely death.

“My father was diagnosed with AIDS three weeks before he died. He was immediately isolated in the hospital, away from all of his friends and family. Soon after, his attorney of only two months draws up my dad’s living trust while on his deathbed.” she explained.

EBIE WRIGHT POINTS A FINGER AT TOMICA WOODS

Ebie’s suspicions fall on her stepmother, Tomica Woods-Wright, who was awarded control of Eazy E’s estate although they were married for less than two weeks.

“Two days later, a secret marriage took place [between Eazy-E and Tomica Woods]. During the following week, my dad’s entire estate was being looted while he was in a coma. On March 26, 1995—three weeks after being diagnosed with AIDS, he was dead. And one person walked away with everything.” she said.

JERRY HELLER: “SOMETHING FISHY HAPPENED TO EAZY”

Eazy’s longtime business partner Jerry Heller agrees with Ebie that the rapper’s death was both unexpected and suspicious.

“Do I think that something fishy happened to Eazy? Absolutely. I don’t believe for a second that someone who had as much money as we did, could afford [care and treatment] like Magic Johnson could afford it—who doesn’t even test positive anymore. I don’t believe that he could’ve possibly died that way.” he said.

Will Ebie’s documentary force an investigation into Eazy E’s death?

Like Ebie Wright, her brother Yung Eazy believes his father was murdered, but he blames record producer Suge Knight for his father’s death.

“I’ve been known my pops was killed. His death never added up 2 what ppl have always said maybe they think we’re idiots blind to the truth idk….but 4 u new fans, youngsters & ppl who just don’t know much notice in#StraightOuttaCompton Eazy did not get sick until after the studio incident with suge and look how he acknowledged & admits on this interview with #JimmyKimmel injecting ppl instead of shooting them is a new thing that’s done. Oh n let’s not touch the topic on Ice Cube naming his album “Lethal Injection,” he said.

Yung Eazy believes Suge injected his father with the HIV virus, since none of Eazy E’s lovers were infected.

Suge Knight is currently serving a 28-years prison sentence for killing the co-founder of Heavyweight Records, Terry Carter.
