NFL Veteran, Travis Kelce Explores TV Career Opportunities, Meets With ESPN And FOX Sports

Center Jason Kelce first told his teammates about his retirement plans after a difficult season-ending 32-9 playoff loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last month. While, Kelce playing days may be done, that does not mean he will not return to the game.

The 36-year-old has reportedly met with some of the biggest networks in the nation about coming onboard. According to a recent piece on Front Office Sports, Kelce is considering a television career and has spoken with ESPN and FOX Sports this week in Las Vegas.

The report also suggests Amazon, CBS and NBC could also be interested in signing the former Philadelphia Eagles lineman.

Kelce may still decide to return to the field but at this stage does not have much to prove. Since being drafted in 2011, he has played in 205 NFL games (regular season and playoffs) and established himself as one of the greatest to ever play the center position. Kelce has been selected to the Pro Bowl seven times and was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles team that won the Super Bowl in 2018.

Fans that have had the pleasure to watch Jason Kelce in action alongside his brother Travis on the New Heights podcast know that he has a knack for public speaking. He is a natural in front of the camera and offers a unique style. His experience in the league will help him to offer insights that few analyst can match. It comes as no surprise that networks are lining up to hire the charismatic and animated star.
