In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper was asked about the much-speculated conspiracy theory and admitted he has long subscribed to it — if not came up with it.

“Suge Knight [is] crazy, man. When he made reference to Eazy-E may have been injected with AIDS, that was my theory from the beginning. He probably heard us say that shit,” Layzie said.

He added: “We were all ignorant, it happened too fast. I don’t know if Suge was insinuating that he had something to do with it, but I know that statement had been out before.

“That was one of the theories: Eazy-E might have gone to the doctor and got injected with AIDS. Suge is Suge, he gonna say what he say and he crazy.”

Suge Knight first mentioned Eazy-E getting injected with AIDS during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2003.

“Technology is so high, right, so if you shoot somebody, you go to jail forever. Kids, you don’t want to go to jail forever, right? So they got this new thing out that people sell them all the time,” the former Death Row Records boss said during the interview.

“They got this stuff they call, they get blood from somebody with AIDS, and then they shoot you with it. That’s a slow death. That Eazy-E thing.”

Since then, theories have swirled that Knight had Eazy-E killed given the alleged violent history between the gangsta rap figures.

Eazy’s former N.W.A groupmate Ice Cube also addressed the rumors last year, but expressed skepticism.

“How would [Suge] do that? And Eazy would never tell anybody that?” Cube said on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast when asked about the theory.”

He added: “Nah, I think if somebody poke you with one of them goddamn needles, you know. You know. I mean, I’m just saying… just say this happened, Eazy would tell somebody, ‘This muthafucka poked me with some shit!’

“Now, if he was unconscious and — I don’t know. It’s like… I don’t know. It just sounds… um… if Eazy would have known he got poked, he would’ve said something. If he didn’t know he got poked, then the conspiracy lives on.”

N.W.A’s late manager Jerry Heller previously lent credence to the theory, as has Eazy-E’s son Yung Eazy who claimed in 2015 that his father was murdered.

Eazy-E (real name Eric Wright) was diagnosed with AIDS in early 1995, dying just weeks later after contracting pneumonia.
