Kanye West surprised the world when he showed off his $850,000 titanium dentures modeled after James Bond ‘more expensive than diamonds’
The 46-year-old rapper attracted attention on Wednesday when he displayed brand-new metallic dentures on his Instagram Story. According to the Daily Mail, these teeth
are estimated to be worth an impressive $850,000. West compared his new appearance to Jaws, the James Bond villain with the metal mouth, in a follow-up article.
The villain made appearances in the films “The Spy Who Loved Me” (1977) and “Moonraker” (1979). Cosmetic dentist Naoki Hayashi and self-described “Father of Diamond
Dentistry,” Dr. Thomas Connelly, completely extracted West’s teeth and replaced them with custom-made titanium dentures. Connelly, however, refuted that West had had
his natural teeth extracted, saying to Complex, “He did not have his teeth removed.” He is still completely dentitioned. Happily and healthily 😁.Connelly reposted West’s
reveal of his dentures on his Instagram Story and gushed over the new appearance to the Daily Mail, but Page Six was unable to get in touch with West’s manager for
clarification.
