Dr. Dre and Xzibit have formed a new Hip Hop supergroup as a result of their new marital statuses.
In an Instagram post Xzibit shared on his personal profile Saturday (November 27), the cannabis entrepreneur appeared in a series of photos with Dr. Dre in a t-shirt that had the acronym “N.W.D.” emblazoned on the front, along with the phrase “Straight Outta Marriage,” on the back.
“Man, we over here healing and moving forward,” Xzibit wrote in the caption stamped with #NWD #NiggazWitDivorces.
Though Dr. Dre and Xzibit’s merch for the fledging group N.W.D. is obviously a rip spin-off of the iconic design of N.W.A.’s Straight Outta Compton album, platinum recording artist Keyshia Cole is ready to join the squad and hopped in the comments to claim her tee before the first official drop.
Like Dr. Dre, Xzibit has experienced his fair share of marriage issues this year.
After spending 20-years together, Xzibit’s wife hit him with divorce papers back in February — shortly after he publicly vouched for Dr. Dre’s character on IG amid the beginning stages of The Chronic producer’s divorce proceedings.
On the other hand, Dr. Dre is still in the midst of an intense financial battle with his wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, for the assets entangled in the marriage and his billion-dollar estate.
The West Coast music mogul is already temporarily paying his Young almost $3.5 million per year in spousal support and is currently deadlocked in negotiations over a two-decade-old prenup which Young alleges Dr. Dre supposedly tore up one night as a romantic gesture and show of faith.
Things may only get even more complicated in regards to Dr. Dre’s divorce proceedings as well, as his assets have reportedly been exposed in new court documents, revealing Dre raked in four million dollars in 2020, and also reportedly has amassed $180 million in cash, $260 million in property and $6 million in stock throughout his decades-long career.
