Taking to social media to share the news, both Anderson. Paak and Dr. Dre revealed on Wednesday (Sept. 12) that .Paak’s new album is finally done and on it’s way. “Just finished mixing the album…

Considering that Anderson .Paak already stated that his forthcoming project Oxnard is the album he’s been dreaming of making since high school, it is evident that his fans are in for a treat. Thankfully, the wait might be getting closer to an end very soon.

Taking to social media to share the news, both Anderson .Paak and Dr. Dre revealed on Wednesday (Sept. 12) that .Paak’s new album is finally done and on it’s way. “Just finished mixing the album. It’s a celebration bitches!” reads the caption on Dre’s post.

Dre, a notorious perfectionist, started mixing the album in July, and the idea that the hip-hop legend was able to mix the project to his liking in a little over two months had fans bouncing off the walls.

.Paak also made the announcement on his personal accounts, taking to both Twitter and Instagram to share the same photo with the caption, “Album Done. Time to bring it home.”

The R&B star began the campaign for Oxnard earlier this year with the release of first single “Bubblin” — which later received remixes from Busta Rhymes and Canadian DJ Kaytranada.

The record is titled in honor of the rapper’s hometown Oxnard, C.A — completing his beach-inspired triptych project, which included his first two albums Venice and Malibu
